I’m a certified arborist and the founder of Etree Experts LLC, based in Washington, DC. I’ve spent over 23 years helping clients protect trees in the middle of complex construction projects. Whether I’m walking a site with a developer, marking plans with an architect, or crawling under a porch with a headlamp to assess a root system, I bring the same goal to every project: preserve what matters and make the rest easier.

I’ve worked with homeowners, civil engineers, architects, and government agencies across the region. I know the codes, the soil, the tree laws, and how to turn a set of plans into a tree protection strategy that actually works.

When I’m not on-site or reviewing a plan set, I’m probably teaching kids about trees, climbing one myself, or helping my wife (a nurse and real-life superhero) juggle our busy home life with our three amazing kids.
